LET US KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING:
TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!

Antique rings, guitars and animation cels call for unique design. If you have something in mind on how you would like to display your unique item, let's discuss the ideas and see what best design can functionally display your work. Here are a few examples of our work.

High speed film was shot of four guitars (pictured right) exploding. The spots were used for "VH1 Rock Honors: The Who". The pieces were collected and MH Art & Frame partially reassembled and shadow-boxed the guitars. The completed size measures approximately
20" x 28" x 6".

Four restored 18th Century paintings were brought in to the shop for framing (pictured left). The arched top frame was created to fit the original stretcher bars and painting. The frame was leafed with white gold. The completed size is aproximately 34" x 40". Finished corner, gold leaf frames can take up to six to eight weeks of production time.

A unique approach to mat design was taken for this original sketch and animation cel (pictured top right). Because the client wanted to have color behind the cel, but a pure white behind the drawing to show the nuances of the color pencil, MH Art & Frame designers opted for a diagonal cut!

Two antique Celtic wedding bands (pictured below), tied together with twine, were placed on top of a silk mat and framed with a distressed pewter/traditional moulding. Museum glass was used for clarity in this shadow box. The client wanted the twine to look "relaxed", so the twine was sewn down to the board. The completed framed size measures approximately 4" x 13".
